Junior Accountant – Brussels

Let’s talk about the role:

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to reinforce our Belgian team.

As Junior Accountant you will provide support to the accounting department by handling general accounting tasks on a daily basis.

On a day to day basis, you will:

Be responsible for the following areas

• Maintain financial controls
• Expense reporting
• VAT filing preparation & liaison with tax specialists
• Coordination of cash management where needed
• Preparation of audit files
• Pro-actively recommending improvements to processes & procedures and involvement in implementation
• Payments processes
• Bank reconciliation
• AP process

Who are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor in accounting or equivalent by experience
• You have excellent knowledge of English with good knowledge of French AND/OR Dutch
• You have good command of Excel
• You have an interest for the insurance sector
• You are a driven & enthusiastic team player
• You have strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
